With the popularity of computer and other electronic devices, incidences of cervical spondylosis affect populations younger in average age. Therefore, ergonomic pillows that can prevent cervical spondylosis are especially important. This study did a morphological analysis of necks of 50 college students (20 male and 30 female students) and found a significant difference in neck morphology between males and females under comfortable sleeping postures and traction sleeping postures. Then we created 3D neck models for male and female volunteers in different cervical health groups and eventually completed the design of traction pillow models for both male and female.
